It is a small network of different resistors

But where are they hiding? For Power FRK definitely there is an added circuitry module and for the ReCylizer the additional circuitry is obviously in the cables, for Accelerator it is not noticeable and there would be very little space in the plug caps for it?

Don't get me wrong, I was about to purchase the Power FRK (without cat version) now i'm trying to convince myself that something that's 1/4 of the price may be equally as good...

Might be interested in one of these for my 2009 GSA (no cat), as it does run a tad lean.

BTW, are they available for the HP2 Sport??

Thats wot i am saying

I'd guess when accelerating it's not running lean as without excess fuel it won't accelerate :nenau And by the sounds of things it's only when accelerating that it's active, and so at constant throttle won't do anything.

An engine runs lean when its getting a greater ratio of air than fuel. So more fuel when accelerating means it’ll be a richer mixture.:rob

It’ll still run lean at a constant throttle though, but then again I don’t do much MW riding.

We will be distributing the Power FRK in the uk.
I will be trying it on my 1150GSA on the road & on the dyno & will report as soon as possible.
It will come with lifetime warranty & 25 day money back guarantee.
If you don't think it is for you, return it for a full refund.

Would I be right in thinking it can't be used on UK 1100GS's as ours don't have lambada sensors? I know some do have the sensor in the UK, but they seem to have been imported into the UK from the European markets.

John,

The lambda sensor is being used for steady velocity. If it is not equipped with it, BMW uses then instead of a lambda sensor a potentiometer. Through the code plug this configuration is given to the Motronic module.

In principle, the accelerator module interacts with the airtemperature sensor, which is being used by the Motronic module during acceleration of your bike.

So, it should work also

Like I said.

Mmmm, like two connecting sockets and some wire, not convinced this is kosher but hopefully will be proved wrong.

It might look as just 2 connectors with a piece of wire, but I can assure you that several electronic parts are being used.

The accelerator module will do the same job at a fraction of the price. It also come with a money back guarantee.

Like I said.

I never doubted that it didn't have "several electronic parts" all I said was
Is this basically a resistor that changes the voltage going to the ECU so that it thinks the incoming air is cooler than it is and increases the fuel that way? :augie

OK - I have taken the plunge and ordered one for my 2006 GS.:thumb I will fit it and run for a few day. It seems to be the only way to see if it works. Does it matter what components it uses to achieve its goal?

If it works great, if it doesn't I've only lost 29€ - thats just a bottle of scotch I missed... I'll live with it.

In for a penny........I have also taken the plunge and ordered one.
I'll let you all know how I get on.

I placed the order last Saturday for an Accelerator, and it duly plopped through my letter box today.:thumb

Within 15 mins it was fitted to the bike and I was off for a short 20 min test ride.:thumb2

Well? I need to go for a proper long run really, but my GSA definitely felt different.
Throttle response felt crisper and more like it was connected the rear wheel. And the engine definitely pulled better in a higher gear from slow speed… e.g. I corner where I always use 2nd gear, I could now use 3rd gear without any hesitation from the engine.:clap

In summary…so far I’m impressed.:thumb I’ll keep an eye on fuel consumption now.

:D:D

Do you make a similar one for the F650 GS? These models are notorious for surging & stalling issues, if you could sort that out you could possibly have quite a few new customers.

Just got back from a week away. Apparently the Accelerator arrived on Tuesday - thats a good service thanks :D. Fitted it in fifteen minutes but its absolutely chucking it down so it doesn't get tested yet. (I am not a fair weather biker by any stretch but I've also only just had a new front tyre fitted (14000+ miles whoopeee) and it hasn't been scuffed in yet so I won't be tempting fate in this weather.)

Sometime over this weekend (but definately on Monday) I will be running with this beasty and will let you know.
