Akro cans! (again)

I getting the Akro can for me 1200GSA, what's deal with the BMW one? Can you buy it yourself or is it only available through beemer dealers?
Or is it exactly the same as the normal titanium one with the Akro badge stuck on differently?

afaik it's the same.

The "BMW" one is approved for fitment, in theory a dealer could have problems with any non appreoved part fitted to the bike for warranty purposes.

I'm gussing it's the same can but the "BMW" one has the logo etched on to the can rather than using a sticker.

Like everything all this warranty stuff comes down to the relationship you have with the dealer.
