Now I realise that there are many threads relating to the alarm and I've trawled through a great many, but my question remains unanswered so here it is:
I have a 2005 1200GS, I've had it for a couple of years and occasionally, when I remove the bike cover, that little tell-tale light is on. Not flashing, but on. Result, flat battery, or mybe it's flasing because the battery is flat (chicken and egg scenario).
Now, here's the thing. My bike doesn't even appear to have an alarm in which case the LED has no rightful business being on at all, right?. I called Wollastons who originally supplied the bike, and from whom I purchased it two years ago, and they have no record of an alarm being fitted. I've searched all over the bike but can't find one, so why is that LED shining? Wollastons have no idea and, as you can imagine, I'm somewhat purplexed.
Can anyone shed any light on this? (pardon the pun)
Donnie
