I pulled up behind Little Mark, hoping he had stopped for something interesting and not because of a problem. Chris was doing a U-turn just ahead, and I could see Mark pointing his camera into the trees. When I followed his aim and saw the size of that bear, in nearly shat myself!

You're now aware that you aren't numero uno on the food chain in that area:D

Remember, if you get close to kill the engine so that you don't scare them off. Or then again maybe not:D

The Dalton Highway. or the Ice Road as it's now known, is 500 miles each way of very changeable and tough riding conditions. It's all these in one hit:

Smooth, rough, gravel, mud, terrifying, exhilarating, dangerous, sunny, foggy, windy, wet, dry, snowy, cold, hot, fun and heart stopping:eek:

Getting 10 guys up there at one go and back again safely, in pretty bad weather for the most part and with no issues whatsoever makes these trips worth all the hard work. Top riding guys:thumb

Top of the World highway into the Yukon is a brilliant road and perfect GS territory Kaister;) Lot's of gravel to scare the shit out of you when you aren't paying attention and it can get very emotional in the wet. Luckily the sun shines on the rightious:Motomartin

At the end of the TOTW, you catch a cracking little ferry across to Dawson City. Big queue because of the feckin RV's which are the size of buses and they only load one at a time. Not too bad though as they let the cars and bikes squeeze on which really pisses the RV owners off:D

You meet some nice people as well and this Harley Rider from tennessee had done 104,000 miles on his 2006 bike. They aren't all arseless chap wearing posers;)
