Am I stupid?

Zumo 550 - MAp info shows CN Europe NT 2012 - all good

I've purchased Russia and China on SD cards. Put the cards in and ask for an address in russia, or view the map. No Russian map detail? The sd card looks fin plugged in to the computer. I just expected to see it appear when I put the card in.

Am I missing something please?

Have you made sure that your new maps are ticked in the map preferences...?

Map preferences? When I choose settings -> map -> map info I only see the europe maps available for ticking, not the maps on the card. Is that what you mean?

Yes.. that's where I'd expect to see any maps available..

These are micro sd cards - just tried a different (Sandisk) adapter - it's all good then. Weird - the PC can read through both adapters. Who cares
