And so it’s Starts 🤞🤞

I have an Eezibleed but would not bother using it on a GS , It is so easy to do without, as you can reach the lever & pedal and the bleed nipple yourself.
Thanks for your reply Mistacat,i've ordered a non return valve today,to be honest i've never heard of them
but you live n learn eh,also as i've never done the brakes on bikes or cars so i need all the help i can get
Cheers Baza,,,,,,,,,,,,,PS I've no idea what happened with the imojis :blast
(y):ROFLMAO::mad:

Be careful when tightening non return valves .
I have not used them myself but have removed sheared off non return valves for folk ,owing to their design they will not stand the tightening torque of the stock bleed nipples.
I have not looked but there must be brake bleeding videos on you tube.

Hi all,i manage to bleed the back brake today (y) but the cap on the
Eezibleed wont fit the front brake reservoir, anyone know of a quick fix
IE,,, a cap that would do the job,
Cheers Baza
Since yours is the later system I believe that You are supposed to bleed it with the GS 911 to flush the ABS unit ??

I ended up using another VIN on my GS911 to accomplish this on my friends bike that I changed the motor in

Now I’m totally lost Doc,I have a Motoscan but VIN numbers to say I’m confused is an understatement 🤯🤦‍♂️

GS911 even with the same Red late wifi models now have three flavours

enthusiast - this allows scan and clear of unlimited bikes - but module coding and calibration is limited to 10 bikes that are permanently registered to the device via the VIN (chassis) numbers

pro unlimited - is a recent annual subscription - allowing the enthusiasts devices early software releases and an unlimited number of bikes within that subscription period

the professional license - is no longer available to buy - it worked on an unlimited number of vehicles for life

there are various bits to activate the abs pump and bleed it - once the abs module is clear of air, the brakes can be bled conventionally - keep an eye on the reservoirs they don't hold much, especially the silly back one

Cheers botus, so I’ll carry on bleeding the system then worry about the activating the ABS 🤔
Is that the right way round 🤔
Cheers Baza

Sorry about the confusion , I thought you were fitting the type Dean0n0 illustrated.
Just bleed it as a normal system and worry about it afterwards. (y)
The recommendation is to bleed it , then operate the ABS pump using the GS911 then bleed it again to remove any air trapped in the pump.
I have always done this but do not recollect ever removing any more air. :)

I've got a GS911 that I keep meaning to get round to selling, bought but never used and now I no longer have my GS. Let me know if you are interested.
(I think it has 7 numbers left on it but am not sure how to check)

Eh maté definitely no need for “Sorry” I’m the one who should be sorry, driving everyone up the wall with this ABS and brake malarkey 🙄
Cheers Baza 😉👍

Hi fella's I’m back, so update,,,I managed to bleed the brakes this morning 👍 just started the bike in the drive brakes seemed to work, but to say bikes running like a bag of shite would be an understatement ☹️👎
Wheeled it back in garage for now, autopsy later,🤔
Bike starts on the button, revs ok,but when idling it sounds like it’s going to die, definitely not smooth, any ideas please
Cheers Baza
