I don't know about being in the bunch, but it's bad enough standing in front of a fast moving peleton armed with a whistle and a flag!
 
The squeeze and I cruised 40.2 miles this morning.

A perfect day for cycling (before it gets too warm!).

Selling my hybrid

Not sure if I'm allowed to link this but I'm selling my very high spec Trek hybrid here.
 
The boy and I got in 18 miles yesterday, they're can't be many cyclists going out with nappies, wet wipes and poo bags.:D

They came in handy though when he announced " daddy, poo" on the way back:eek:

I'll be gutted when he outgrows the seat we use.:(
 
I've just done my local loop again which is 14 miles and my average speed is 14 mph,which is pretty crap.

But it's a pretty hilly route in West Sussex and I'm getting slightly quicker each time.

I've just bitten the bullet and ordered a road bike and am now selling my hybrid,as I've used a road bike a few times when away with work and find the riding position better for my back.Hopefully I'll be faster on that as it's a fair bit lighter too ! Shame it won't be delivered till August though.

So anybody want a very well specced hybrid ??

That's the only trouble with cycling-it seems to attach more dickheads than GSs.

I couldn't give a flying fuck if bar ends aren't cool.I'm not 16 and trying to impress anyone.
 
I took my bar ends off after reading that, they interfered with the tassels anyway.:bounce1

Yesterday, Kerry and I rode our hybrids from Zandvoort to Den Haag and back - 61 miles. Mostly flat but there was a b'tard wind!
 
If you went there and back it must of been behind you sometimes

I'd rather ride in the mountains than a flat windy region. Try the Pyrenees next time.

B'tard wind waited until we'd lunched in The Hague - then it turned! ;)

It's quite hard to ride in the Pyrenees when you're in Holland :blast

Recommend some tyres ....

Before Kerry and I ride the Boris 100, I am minded to slip new treads onto our bikes.

I was thinking of fitting Continental Grand Prix 4000S II tyres to our road bikes.

Are there better options in 23 x 700?
