I think joes mate is gonna pop over and we are to thrash some up on the old jiggy saw, you could always try his in case they dont work.

too big, too small, wadya think, 5mm lexan poly carb has been ordered.

5mm is too thick, i cant bend it without mullering it.
Anyone got any ideas on how to bend this stuff nicely, without a thermo nuclear gas lance?
Ive tried it with a hot air gun with regulated temp and just cant get it to look nice, it bubbles.
The material is nice to work with, but to bend it is a right bar steward.
ill try some 3mm next..........

dont know about that , its why i left it to the Pro's

my samples are on there way to me and will be with me monday then i will sort the appropriate fixings get them on the bike do a test and post some pics

Chad ,i picked up some mega strong velcro today, holds 15 kilos dead weight.
If you are gonna make some i'll have a set, be careful on the samples front, some peeps have tobys and some dont, makes for a confusion near the lower windscreen .
That heavy duty velcro is the tits, as long as you degrease it properly before sticking it on,i use meths.

there will be two types one for tobi's and one for with out , at the moment the samples are for with tobi's as thats my set up

now im not a fan of fitting with velcro as i think its too easy to steal the item

so im going for a hard fit to my bike , but once they are fitted to my bike i willdo pics of the fitting and then you all can decide if you want a hard fit or the velcro

i was knocking up a set to see if they suit me,when i ride with peaked lid its fine, when i ride with the schui i get turbo'd.
