Not on a GS so hope that's ok. ;) :thumby:

Stopped over at Verdun and then a nice little Hotel on Lake Constance.

Into the Austrian Tyrol... :bounce1

Purchased this nice mini manbag from the Gnarley section. :D

Nice KTM car thing at one of the coffee stops.

Despite it's bulk the mighty K proved to be the perfect tool for these kinds of roads. :thumb2

The beast at rest. :thumb

Next up... The Grossglockner and three nights at "The Grey Ones" Gasthof in Malta. :rob

Somebody's nicked your panniers - unless the locks have come out :augie

Snow... :bounce1

Went up to the little parking place road at the top for best views. :)

Apple Strudel. :drool

If that bike makes strudel - i am chopping mine in!!

Chomping it in surely. :nenau :D

Anyway... tapping at my GPS like a woodpecker and it tells me where to go. :thumb

John's Gasthof at Malta. John welcomed us with a free beer and nice glass of white wine. Thank you. :beerjug:

Nice view from the bedroom window. :thumb2

The next morning we were given a nice route for this place.

Time for a rest day.

We nipped down to Gmund and visited the Porsche Museum there.

Had a general poke around the town.

Can a cow eat too much grass... :nenau

Another top trip and report! Setting a high standard for all the poor bods like me who aren't going for another month or so!

I'm gonna have to practice my photographic skills :thumb

Heading for home we visited Zwiefalten in Southern Germany. This place is famous for it's brewery/beer and fantastic early baroque style Abbey with attached lunatic asylum. :thumb2

The next morning we had another look around the Abbey and also managed to get a look inside.

If the outside was impressive then the inside was simply stunning. :thumb2

We managed to bluff our way into the Psychiatry Museum which was in the grounds of the Hospital and not normally open in the mornings except for medical students.

I looked at the straight jackets and thought of att. :thumb ;)

To be a good nurse you need plenty of TLC... Temazepam, Lorazepam and Clonazepam. :aidan

Well worth a visit if your ever passing and are interested in beer, early baroque German Art and psychiatry. :)

Thanks for looking. :beerjug:

No pictures of the other bikes at John's? :)
