May seem a stupid question but I dont suppose you can make up a route in auto route 2004 & tranfer it to a garmin 2610.Its just I find it so much easier to locate places & make up routes with the auto route

Like I said probably a stupid question

cheers anyway Ian

If you save a route in Autoroute .axe file format, you can convert it to Mapsouce .gdb file format by using GPSU. ISTR that for over a certain number of waypoints, you'll need a registered version of the program. It's also not quite that straightforward when you import the file into Mapsource, in that it draws straight lines between the waypoints and you have to then re-route onto roads.

If it aint straight forward then I think I'll leave well alone thanks all the same I have enough trouble with what I have now.
cheers Ian

Exporting GPSU to Garmin

Just reading the thread above. I have imported my Autoroute file into GPSU. But I cannot see either an export facility or when you do a save as that will allow you to convert the file into GDB format.

Any help here would be good.

Colin.

Thanks Mouse.

Tried that but 6.3 hasn't that option. am updating to 6.5 to see if that will.
