Hi Guys,
Just about to change my old GS1200 for a spanking new GS 1200 SE.

I have my autocom wired into the back of the power socket on my old one. SOmetimes the autocom would switch off for a few minutes then come on for 30 seconds and then switch off again. I would have to stop the bike and restart it. I've been told that is is because of the wiring system on the 1200's.
Just wondered if any of you have experienced this problem and if so how do you wire your autocom onto the bike. I would like to get rid of this on the new machine.
Please bear in mind I am a complete numpty at anything mechanical or electrical and wiring it into the back of the socket was a major task for me so try and keep the advice as simple as possible,
Thanks in advance
Cheers
