I bought a pair for my gslc , £205, from oponeo, will fit them in the spring, my pr4s should see me through a trip to southern france in march
Is everyone still happy with these? I'm tempted to get some for the GSA. If anyone has seen any decent offers on a pair for the LC, please post a link up.![]()
Pr4 rear squared off and wore out very quick on my LC. Dont go too far on worn ones.I bought a pair for my gslc , £205, from oponeo, will fit them in the spring, my pr4s should see me through a trip to southern france in march

I'm just on there now, but the picture of the trail rider front looks completely different http://www.oponeo.co.uk/moto-tyre-d...lrider-120-70-r19-60-v-front-tl-m-s#125523297
Next time you get a heavily worn PR4 taken off the bike, pick it and have poke around at it............... it's no wonder they puncture so easily.......... the carcass is so light.Pr4 rear squared off and wore out very quick on my LC. Dont go too far on worn ones.
That's not an image of a Trailrider. It's just a generic image of "a tyre" It has "no image" written across the front of it. AV53 is the correct designation for a front Trailrider.
Give them a try Nutty, I'll be shocked if you're not impressed.Ok, cheers.![]()

Just ordered a pair from Bahnstormer. £205, so less than a tenner more than the cheapest online retailers, for peace of mind.![]()
Avon trailriders fitted yesterday on my 08 gsa, went out today an it's got a front end shimmy, feels like I'm riding on a very soft front tyre, had tourance exp's on prior and didn't have any problems with them, any ideas ?
Are they going to fit them as well?
They gave me a cracking price for an Anakee 3 fitted - but I didn't want one...
Reading through this thread I see that there are no comments regarding these tyres rubbing against anyone who has a mudslinger fitted?
There was a thread here earlier in the year about this tyre not clearing some gs's fitted with a mudslinger anybody have any issues with this problem?
I am looking at either these or Dunlop road smart III's?

I think that was something to do with the LC with Mudsling Max, either way, like you, I can't be arsed to look for the thread, I have Trailriders on my TC and they clear the mudsling by some distance.
Here's the link http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/432749-Tyres-compatible-with-Mudsling-on-a-GSA
Given the comments i can only assume that this is no longer an issue!?
