Bar risers, anybody want some?

No need to change the cables. You do have to reroute the throttle cable which is an easy job.

Hi Tanneman, I'm off to Poland after tomorrow...PM me with payment details if you are that far and I'll send payment...otherwise, I'll be back in a couple of weeks...don't think I'm ignoring you!

No Problem. When all finished I'll put the pictures up and PM each of you.

Did you find out if they'll fit an 07 GSA? or what the differences are between an 07 and 08 onwards?

The later bars only use one bolt through to the top yolk the earlier ones use two. If yours uses two these wont work.

Now if someone could make these with rubber mountings.................:beerjug:

I see an idea. Will work on it.

Dave78 there is a guy I know well with an earlier GS which I have to corner when I see him down at the club. I can then use his GS for making the bar risers.

The material has been cut, machining will probably start next week.

Hi boo, as I said above there is a guy I know well with an earlier GS which I have to corner when I see him down at the club. I can then use his GS for making the bar risers. Everything is planned, it's just making the time to do it as I'm really busy at work with overtime.

Just quick couple of q's.

1. I'm off on a short trip soon so would appreciate an update on progress. Hope to use these risers for the trip.

2. Re-routing the throttle cable - disconnect from the top or the bottom? Or slide off the handle bar twist grip? Whats the easiest way?
