bar Risers pros and cons

I have had them on my last two 1100s and they are spot on for me. I am 5' 10"

I'm the same height as Mark ^^ and have Jaws' 25mm risers too. I wanted less weight on my hands and an inch seems give this. The front brake line is ok with these. Just.
Not an expensive experiment at John's (Jaws') prices.

I think 50 mm will be too high and almost certainly require a new brake cable at least. Get the 25mm up and back ones on here and save a wad at the same time.

Always have a set of jaws on my 1150s & 1200s up and back for me..
for the price they are unbeatable......

Get one of his wheel fitting widget, whilst your ordering......
Makes putting the rear wheel on a doddle single handed.....

Ive used Rox anti vibration risers that lift about 2 inches. I hate the BMW bar sweep so used some Rental low rise fat bars. Result! Less grip vibration and thumb joints that don't feel like they are being torn off my hands after an hour on the road.

Not argument against Rox risers but against Jaws bar risers for price and I've tried them all.
No competition.

The Rox risers have a bad habit of twisting in the clamp - aluminium to aluminium seems to slip easily. I found some 22mm ID / 28mm OD aluminium tube to link the risers together (mine fit 22mm headstock clamps) I slotted the tube ends and used grub screws to stop them slipping. No more slipping on one side and bars twisting out of line.
