A beautifully observed insight into the world of motorcycle road racing from the early 1990s. The programme features interviews with local riders, including Robert Dunlop, and goes behind the scenes at race fixtures and events. It combines adrenalin-filled spectacle (making use of ambitious camera-work and sound recordings) with moments of intense poignancy. It was filmed during the 1992 road racing season and helps to explain the attraction and appeal of this remarkable sport. Between the Hedges was produced by Doubleband Films for BBC Northern Ireland television and was winner of the Palermo International Sport Award

I saw this first time round, happy and sad memories. Channel 973 on Sky for those not in Norn Iron
