Let me see now. You're the one who had SIX services carried out by BMW dealers, mainly by Sawbridgeworth before the penny dropped and you worked out they were expensive?

Picked up my new 1000 on Thursday and tyres now nicely scrubbed in thanks to a 260 mile round trip to Skeggy..

It's only Bloody Fantastic compared to my old 1150GS and am looking forward to piling some miles on.

If anybody out there is considering changing from an 1150GS to a Fazer Thou just do it. Try out a demo by all means like I did and then you can really feel the difference.

It's much faster, smoother and strangely better on fuel, but that's probably due to me running it in.

Am now a very happy chappie except that I'm at work over the weekend
