Bertha's back

As many veteran members may remember..
May have pictures somewhere in the old PC. Will try to dig it out...

Not as veteran as some but I recollect a picture of it on its arse in a 6ft ditch - its in here somewhere unless it went the way of the great picture indexing balls-up of 2004 :D

Back on subject if you do go for a high mudguard, give the OE one a swerve, it is prone to flexing. The Acerbis braced one is the one to go for - neither helps stability as well as a low one, so if off-roading isn't your thing stay low.

Well guys thanks for the comments and advice. Seems pretty even stevens on the tck v tourance and same on high or low mudguard so I suppose its down to me, not really too fussed either way really cept I do have this set of brandy new tcks crying to get down from the garage roof.:thumb2

Now I have another problem.. I know the airheads are not the quietest in the rocker dept but mine has a definate noise especially on the right hand side. no amount of tappet adjustment will silence it and yes I have checked the end float. Even bought new(second hand )rockers complete with spindles and pillar blocks. still noisy. Not sure what else it could be other than piston slap ( shouldnt be as new rings were fitted) or poss little ends. any ideas please, dont really want to take the barrel off again. :tears

You should donate those TKC's to somebody that'll use em for what they were intended.....don't ya think she'd look great with those TKC's???
