I've heard a couple of people complain about Motobatt, I guess like anything you get faulty products in amongst the good stuff. The Motobatt I had was crap, never turned the bike convincingly, had to charge it all the time even with the bike in a heated, carpeted garage done out in a nice shade of blue. My mechanic asked me why I bought it, even. Bought some cheapo Yuasa one off Ebay and it's loads better. I miss the extra terminals though, a nice touch.
I agree.I've heard a couple of people complain about Motobatt, I guess like anything you get faulty products in amongst the good stuff.
I have used four Motobatt units on several bikes and have only had a positive experience from them. I rate them as highly as my previous Odyssey for performance but thankfully without the price tag. I also trust Tayna as a battery supplier, never having an issue with any of their stuff.
The Noco lithiums have only one connector, but has three tapping points so you can connect to any one of the available threads+1 for Motobatt
Another benefit is that they have 2 sets of terminals...
As you have a few wires connected, the 2nd set of terminals may help you tidy the wiring.
I pop mine on a C-TEK charger once a month, just overnight when not in use (I don't have any accessories - like a Tracker - to drain the battery)...
Edit - I see "turkuss" beat me to it with the benefit of extra terminals
my odyssey died over night unable to start the bike, just like the original as it was coming up to 5 years old - that was 7 years backHi All
Nice and easy one
Current battery attached
Any good tips on which is a good replacement
Thanks
PS I have a CTEK charger that I’ll used for drip feeding it
