Just did mine this Morning then had a run out. Much Quieter im pleased to report even on a Hot restart
The whole job took only 35 minutes including being disrupted by our neighbour. Very good of BMW to down size the Bolt head to 15mm for easier refitting allthough the parts i feel should have been subsidised

You should have seen the cost of the original replacement tensioner they sold...

Thanks for the info.Did my r1150gs with 52k on the clock.
Quieter now thanks.
Although it revved like mad instead of nice tickover.

I managed to pull the throttle cable out of place,under the tank.
Thanks to brian o for sorting that
