Camille's big rebuild

I think we may have some stiff competition for "best airhead" at this years Gentlemens' Weekend.

Unfortunately due to the soon to be birth of my first child, my wife won't be attending.

The competition just got smaller :D:D:D

It's no yoke this bike building lark

Well today all I've done is paint the top and bottom yoke. So tomorrow I'll put the bearings in and pop the yokes on. I've decided to get the engine bead blasted so found some pro's who do alot of classic stuff so I'll take it to them on Tuesday.
Were well on the way :D

Today i' been

Trying to put bearings in the headstock and swingarm. What a pain in the arse. Anyway all in now. Yokes are all painted White and look very nice and the engine, gearbox and bevel box are all taped up and ready to go to the shotblaster tomorrow.
Hopefully by the end of the week we car start the reassembly:D

Competition just got bigger !! :clap

Saw an absolute stunner this weekend and it is going to be in attendance at the weekend

sounds beautiful and looks just as good - the paintwork is stunning - no its better than stunning :clap
No it isnt mine:(, but I wish it was, and just for proff its a MONO

cant wait hope it looks as good after the mandatory ride through the woods before judging :augie

I'm not worried

After all camille isn't just an airhead:D
Just hope I can get all the little bits done and assbled in time. You know how it goes, I'll pop in the shed and do a couple of simple jobs kinda 30mins work. Bugger me 3 hours later and you've still not got it finished. That's what happened today while trying to fit the bearings and spray the yokes:blast
Arr well keeps me out of trouble.

been a busy old day

been and dropped all the engine and bits off for bead blasting so should have that by the end of the week. got the yokes all ready for assembly and checked them in the frame. colour match is near spot on so i'm happy. also just managed to get my hands on a pair of marzocchi fork stickers as per the original so very happy bunny as i've been looking for some of these for about a year now. Tanks off being stripped and then its off for a spot of welding before the paint goes on by which time the stickers should be ready so that will be good.
Anyway here's the yokes and as they are in the frame.:thumb2

I've also been to see the sticker man who's doing all the decals and supplied him with a few more to do including the Antar logo and the michelin ones.:D
