Canbus...............again!!

Sorry to drag up an old subject................

Im having a problems buying a canbus socket to wire up my zumo, called my BMW dealer (Belgium), giving part No 80 00 0 611 656, he got pissy, said he couldnt and wouldnt sell me one!!

So i call my nearest Dutch dealer (i live on the NL/BE border), explained what i wanted and wanted to do, he said no problem, come by, it cost around 4 euro, a result!

So i go to collect it, with a scan of the web page of the bmw packing, with the product No and bar code etc on it. Lucky i did because he wanted to sell me an accessory socket (not unlike a ciggy lighter in a car). So i show him the scan, never seen that before he says, then he asks the mechanics. They have seen them before but dont know how to get one. The product number isnt recognised by the computer so he cant help me!

So are there any Tossers from Holland or Belgium who have done this modification and can tell me where they bought it from and with what number??

Or, i even have some sterling from when i was last visiting my kids if one of the UK members can help me out?

I got mine from a BMW car dealer, he just put the number in the computer and said "how many you want". Lots of the bike dealers won't sell it as it's classed as "workshop only"
