I had the service done at the dealer I bought it from, so got a bit of discount. Cost was about £133.

£64.66 at Mill (now Cooper) BMW Sunderland. made up of Engine Oil (Mineral)Multigrade, O-Ring, Seal Ring, Oli Filter, and Gearbox Oil (Rear Drive). No charge for Labour. I watched them do it and it took about 2 hours.

No valve clearances checked - supposed to !! --- and that requires a cold engine

Heads Torqued Down, Valve Clearances where checked (with cold engine), Engine Oil and Filter Changed, Rear Caliper removed together with Torque Arm and Rear Drive swung down to facilitate Oil Draining and refilled with expensive BMW Oil. All other bits and pieces as per Service Shedule. As I said above I kept popping in for a look at various stages and was well satisfied.
