Hi
Just after some advice on cleaning the fronts of the cylinders. What do you guys use to get in there and scrub away the bugs and tar etc?
Thanks

Paint brush, work in the cleaner and wash off -simples :)

Thanks. Had tried a toothbrush without success so paint brush it is!

Google .... "seam sealer brush".... very stiff brush, works well as cleaning brush, digs out the dirt & don't scratch:thumb2

I use a jet-washer. Quick wipe over with a microfibre cloth on plastics and screen and away in the (gently heated) garage she goes.

No doubt all the pots, potions and brush-loving doom-monger brigade will be along soon to foretell of the imminent disintegration of my bike. However, not a sign of corrosion so far (12 months) and I used the same technique on my RT which also looked immaculate when it went after three years.

Still, if you prefer being on your hands and knees cleaning the engine with a toothbrush rather than riding, I guess that's up to you!

:D

I leave it and let it build up a nice patina...
