My clock is not working it defaults to 00.00 when I switch the bike off and then shows how long I have had the bike switched on.

I have been looking at the electrics - have I currupted the settings? Any suggestions, I would like my clock back.

Thanks in advance

Sorry I can't be more help, but the symptoms you describe appear to mirror the expected behavior of the clock each time the battery is disconnected.

Quite why the power to the clock should be interrupted when your ignition is turn off I don't know.

Anyway, just a thought.

Mine does the same (well on start up).Put it down to battery on its way out as i have had a few starting problems .The starter is drawing so much power that it nicks the internal battery's juice as well .I keep the optimate on it all night and it keeps the batt topped up.Will have to buy a new one eventually.Maybe your internal battery is on its way out.How old is the bike?

Wot no Clock Try this :-

High guys your Accessories Fuse has blow by the sounds of it, its the third from the left facing towards the front of the bike its the 15amp (blue) one it does the Clock and the Accessory socket,

Its a bit dirty now but I will try and get it just like yours.

When I picked the bike up from SPC the spot lights had blown the fuse (PDI what PDI!).

Where did you get your front mudgaurd extension from? SPC don't have them in but they did say they were made by Pyramid Plastics.

Clock now working - fuse three had blown.

Many thanks guys
