Anyone enjoyed the pleasures of replacing their clutch cut-out switch (for want of correct term) Paralever type, unique to this model again I believe)
Tried repairing the existing, no bl**dy chance.
Seems to be booby-trapped.
Before the replacement one arrives anyone got any tips? Its the block plastic block type with a pin, biro type spring and miniture sliding block that seems impossible to fit without dis-assembling entire handlebar end.

Bloody things only lasted 110,000 miles odd :augie

If its the one im thinking about, i made a little gadget to screw it in with and tighten up with. The switch i fitted been ok since.
You are welcome to borrow it . . .bastid aint they ?

Sounds good. I'ev just received the new part...and realised the existing was in bits  so I'll give it a go after me hols. Should I be knacked I'll kindly take you up on the offer.
Apperently there is a small screw holding the block 'in' I didn't see that :o
Let you know the outcome ;)

Slapped the new one in at the w/e. Would be dead easy if you didn't have to take the entire clampt etc off...and having heated grips didn't help. All sorted now ta !
