I haven't got the bike any more but I got 4000 miles from them without any sign of wear or cupping
Am running a 70 on the rear of my GSA with a Karoo 3 on the front and I'm finding it a great combo. Have not had the back slip once yet, can't quite say that for the front but is was proper wet and I was provoking it!
Wear on the 70 has been excellent, it's quiet, free running, grippy all the way out to the edge, and not too bad on the trails. I will most likely get one on the back when I finally kill this one![]()
Just back from a 3500 mile European trip on TKC70s.Some fairly serious off roading and fast French D roads. The tyres were perfect here.Grippy and stable in the corners and loads of traction off road.BUT they do induce a death weave over 90 on the motorway under certain circumstances.Still, good for the licence![]()

I did a recent euro trip on these too and never got any weave at 120mph on the autobahn. That was 2up with panniers on the superior TC
I'm happy with them so far. 2000 miles and only a very small amount of squaring off. They seem much stickier than the Chinese Tourances in the wet and dry

Hi Boatman. Guess we must have been chasing each other round Norway thats the route we did more or less. Something odd with these tyres. Reading lots of posts on different forums and no pattern re bike, riding style or load. Some, like yourself, are very happy and others like us seem to be having problems. Although we ride together I tend to be slightly more aggressive as in cornering speed and acceleration etc and my wife is much smoother slightly slower so seems odd that with two very similar bikes we should have the same problems. I am beginning to think that its possibly a "bad batch" issue. When we had them fitted the tyre guy said it was the first set he had fitted so will see what he comes up with.
Was a great trip by the way much prefer the north and the more open feel to the Fjord area having done both over the last few years, just wish it wasn't so expensive. Need to save up for a couple of years for another run at it...![]()
