In my opinion, it`s a `business stay` place, lacks character although the facilities are ok. Sort of place you would take someone elses wife if you were that way inclined But I hear it`s alright for weddings.

There's the Derwent Manor, which used to be the Royal Derwent. There's also The Derwentside pub in Blackhill, but you really wouldn't want to be staying there.
