Hi all i am new to this site and based in South Wales. I have available to all BMW motorbike owners some new dealer level diagnostics equipment which covers all models of BMW motorbike. I can provide you a print out of diagnostics for your bike with fault codes allowing you to carry out your own repairs. Please PM me for more details. I there are enough of you i would be able to arrange to meet you at areas where bikers gather at weekends such as Llandovery and Abergavenny allowing me to bring the price down.
Thanks

Mark

Nobody can PM you until you're a subscriber :beerjug:

You don't HAVE to be a subscriber to put up this sort of service here- you could post it instead in the 'Vendors' section, but being one really does help :thumb2

Without giving the name away ( for obvious reasons) it works on the same principles as the dealer diagnostics equipment as under EU law all road vehicles fitted with onboard diagnostics must use a standard set of codes for given fault readings, this info must be made available so manufacturers cannot hold owners of vehicles to ransom. It works on the same principle as other equipment that I own for doing cars such as the VW vcds system. I plug into the bikes diagnostics port under the seat which connects to my laptop with the software, not only gives the fault code but also the name of the part/ parts causing the fault.

Is it yellow?

OK, like a GS911 does then. Good luck with the business, I think its worth getting a printout of fault conditions if selling a bike so worth it for that reason alone.
