So far I've only ridden 14 miles so I need to get to c. 200 miles, in a oner, to be happy that I can ride to Europe!
It will take you 70.3 days riding 14 miles a day so I’d suggest you get started

I'd recommend bypassing Elgin.
That's a weird route to get to the Chunnel!
If i's dry I'll head to Inverness tomorrow, on the GSA, after my physiotherapist appointment in Elgin.

As for the flooding and weather fingers crossed. Not sure if it has flooded this year.
Last year was the worst weather I've had whilst visiting.
