Just spotted this in the hot airheads section and I really like it. Does it belong to anyone here or does anyone know anything about the spec?

It looks similar to one I had in a couple of years ago,
If you find yourself looking to buy a bike like this, make sure you get a good test ride on it,
It looks like the fork yokes are standard ktm or whatever.
The lack of offset and change of rake and trail makes for a dangerously unstable bike.

Similar to one I’m building just now. Happy to share the parts list if you’re interested.

Nin, I just realised it’s your bike in the adventure build. Been watching with interest

Hi mad hatter

Base bike is an 80 G/S, but with lots of special parts!

Forks and front wheel are off a 2004 KTM 450 exc, engine will have Siebenrock big bore kit and a Moorespeed 324 cam. Swing arm and drive shaft, rear wheel are also Moorespeed. Gearbox is from Mikeyboy with low first and high fifth plus kick start. Fuel tank is HPN.

Fairing and triple clamps are from Herbert Gletter. Most of the rest is standard BMW stuff.

Hi
This motorcycle was built by Fritz Witzel.
I just rebuilt it and added a few details.
The motorcycle was bought yu on UK.GS a few years ago.

Fantastic, it’s a brilliant looking bike. Can you tell me what it started off as and what’s been done to it?
