Does the WC 1200 suffer fuel pump controller failure ?

I'm asking because I carry a spare from my 2008.(I suffered failure) I don't even know if the spare would fit the WC . It'll be up for sale if someone can tell me that its not needed?

Whilst I'm on the subject, the non WC had a non return fuel system, so fuel pressure was controlled by voltage changes to the fuel pump. Is the same system used on WC versions? Non WC were a laughing stock for frequent recovery truck pictures.

I have been lurking around here since 2014, I don't recall any posts with reference to fuel controler issues. You can be sure there would be quite a lot of posts if there was more than the odd failure.
