Ok, first off sorry if I'm being a bit thick but I can't find the relevant info I need so this is another post about the DWA code.

My F800 GSA is now a year and a half old and the DWA code has appeared again, funnily enough it happened while it was at the dealers having some work done. This time they didn't want to replace it under warranty, and to be honest if it's going to happen again I want to to do it myself. Trouble is I can't find out either what batteries I need or where the compartment is to replace them.

Does anyone know if there's advice anywhere to do this already?

code

Search this forum, Pukmeister pasted a link regarding this back in 2010.

The advice is on the www

Google:

f800GS DWA batteries replacement

F800GS DWA

And keep looking through until you find what suits your needs. The batteries are CR summat or other, 3V apparently and used in cameras, or something like that.

Failing that, return to dealership and beg for help / pay them to do it.

I thought BMW bikes have 2 year warranty I would be asking them again and if no luck contact BMW UK to clarify the warranty situation
