checked the plugs as well and they indicate that the bike may be running very slightly lean as it is
ok,,, just checked the TPS and it's sitting at 3.30 volts ..
so , i dont want to be touching that untill i have done the rest of the work ,, is that right ??
what i have read is that lowering the voltage will reduce surging , but lean the mixture ,, and increasing will richen the mixture and cause more surging and backfiring ... is this correct ???

Remove fuse 5.
Wait a minute.
Replace fuse 5.
Ignition on but don't start the engine.
Fully open and close throttle three times.
Ignition off.
Start as normal.
As I believe this procedure is only remapping the TPS I'm not sure whether this will make any difference to your problem, but can't hurt.
but it may be able to find your fault and as you are not to far away you are welcome to use it are we talking about the fuse that i have marked here ?????

HELP!
Just done a search on TPS and I get No Results. ???
The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : TPS

just hoping theres an engine breather in that region that is drawing the carb cleaner in and cutting engine out.
