Had a strange experience today. Out enjoying a ride on my 2008 GSA, doing about 40mph along the moors. Approaching a R/H turn down a hill. As I turned in the bike stalled. I stopped and tried restarting three times but the bike would not start. I tried a fourth time and it started! It gave the appearance of running out of fuel but I had only done about 55miles on a full tank.

I did have the ring antenna replaced about a year ago! My bike is 2.5 years old with 12000 miles on clocks. Anyone with similar experience?

Mine did exactly the same as yours recently, '58 plate GSA. Got it checked at the dealer, the only fault was No 1 cylinder Lambda probe heater no working properly. Fault code reset, fresh tank of fuel and no further problems to report.

I suspect it was a bad tank full of fuel from Sainsburys supermarket forecourt in Chichester that caused my woes, although I obviously can't prove that.

Did a few hundred miles today with no problems so I'll see how it goes. I always fill my bikes with premium fuel, Shell V Power or Tesco 99ROM.
