Was out for a wee run today and tried to switch the ESA to "sport". Nothing happened. Cant get any info on the screen. The bike had a new clutch fitted recently at Alan Jefferies so was completely in bits. Told them of my problem today and they're getting back to me. Also had new battery fitted few weeks ago. Any body had similar prob ?

No mate, but I hope they sort it out for you quickly. Let us know how you get on - it all adds to the knowledge base :thumb2

Maybe they left a coupler unplugged, bike was split for the clutch so easy to do. Yes, let us know how it goes

Its fixed..... thank f... ! Michael Lyon from Alan Jefferies called back this morn with a suggestion that might work. There are three electical plugs just behind the battery. They are white ,blue and black. Bloody ackward to get at, lost a bit of skin off the knuckles but got them all out and back in again. ESA now working as it should. Apparently Jefferies had a bike with similar prob not long ago. Remember this one, prob work on lots of BM's. :bounce1 :clap :beerjug:

Cheers Hugh. Useful to know. Out of interest, were the plugs disconnected or wrongly connected?

The three plugs to the left of this picture, if you managed to get your hand in there without taking the plastic off you did well

The plugs were all connected. Maybe just not all the way in ?
Definitely ‘not all the way in’, you’d have really struggled to unplug them blind because they lock in. Looks like the mechanic put them in place but didn’t push them fully home. Nice easy fix anayway, well done :thumb
