Tight aris! :-) It was worth it just to walk through the foyer past the folk going into Comicon in the next hall. I've never had an acid trip, but I suspect that was probably the closest experience I'll ever get

Had 1150s for 17yrs this winter and still my choice bike as a workhorse for the regular job plus general transport.

I have to ride 45miles each way to Manchester east (Audenshaw) which takes between 90-120mins to work on mine. With so much commuter traffic and lousy weather, it would take a lot longer in a car.
Till hopefully end of November when I give my termination letter in.

Totally agree riding this bike just 'feels right' I've had other bikes but I always come back I'm now on my 3rd 1150 adventure and it doesn't get any better than this.

Just sold my 2014 triumph trophy so now my Carbed 1100 gs is my everyday bike. Saving so much on depreciation no need to be precious with it. A lot less of a handful to manage than a 1200 gsa I had previously. 30 mph 5th gear a burbling smooth pussycat to ride:)

Nobody wanted mine, apparently it's an overpriced bag of nails

Hi mate, got a 2003 1150gs , k@n, remus , y piece, twin spark, what was the difference with johns chip, had a stage 9 in my 1100 gs and went well, just some of the techno babble from some of the imagineers is a bit confusing, some closed loop shit, so if it goes like fuck better , am in.

No, They're just being kind. You know if you sold it you'd regret it and nobody wants you to be sad. Looking at the photo you'd be hard pushed to find a better one at any money.

Have to agree with the comments in this thread. My 1150 GSA is just "the right bike". I've had faster bikes and better handling bikes, but never one that was just so damned good at everything. Last month, I rode mine from home here in Herefordshire to our factory east of Frankfurt. 707 miles non stop (apart from fuel and the tunnel) and could still walk normally on arrival, and that's before I fitted the super comfy seat I've just bought from Cherokee. Never managed that on my CBR. For an all day comfy bike that will take me anywhere I reasonably want to get to, it can't be beat and I can't see myself ever selling it until I hang up the gear.

Hi buddy real noticable improvement, free revs right up the range and runs really smooth, the fueling is spot on now makes it a real joy to ride...im 100% pleased with the result...

I have two 1150 Advs now - one good one, the other a bit rougher round the edges. 13 years of taking me all over the place - longest hit was 1184 miles, from home here in Uttoxeter to Hirstals, northern tip of Jutland. I had to keep going, I had a ferry to catch.:D

It gets loaded up and goes right through the winter. 30,000 miler only. :thumb2

The other. In the Faroes. Clocked up nearly 120,000 miles now. :thumby:

OOPS.. same bike twice! here is the newer one.
