forks QUESTION

Just rebuilt the front forks (r100gs-pd) but when I push them up and down One leg dampens and the other springs, I've checked the Haynes manual and also a C D manual Rob Farmer kindly sent me, they both say nothing about this.

The fluid levels are correct and I double checked both legs are re-built correctly. ????

They should

one leg does compression damping only, the other rebound only
