I called into Williams in Manchester today and as well as a free nav, they are giving the 3 box luggage free on a new GS.

My GS was registered March 13, do I qualify for a free sat nav. They've just give me a new engine so that will do I guess.

its not a wind up, i spoke to Wllliams yesterday, BMW is sorting the NAV V, Williams will add the luggage - 2 boxes not 3 though and no other "give" in the deal.

The Nav 5 is near to bloody hopeless on tour.......Nav 4 routes much better. On the other hand you could put the 'give away' on ebay and make £400.

I have a brand new Nav V in box which I will be advertising on here shortly, BMW's offer is only with new GS's Not Adv's, It is an unwanted gift.
The box has only been opened so I could take pics, it is the nav V, includes usb lead, battery (Not yet installed), screw driver, instructions and carry case. Only reason I haven't advertised it on here yet is because I am going away on Holiday this Saturday for a week and don't want people to think I am ignoring any questions or contact. (And yes, I am registered and paid up member on here so yes I will be putting in the for sale section when ready). If it doesn't sell on here I will advertise it on flea bay one day....

If you are interested and have any questions before I advertise it you can PM me but I can't promise I will be able to reply promptly, depends on wifi on holiday.

I spoke to my local dealer today, as I wanted to sort a few extras for my new GSA. I asked about the Nav V offer, and he said that it's because GSA is on a 1-1 sales ratio with the GS. He said that's the 1st time ever it's like that, as the GS normally out sells the GSA 3-1. BMW is crapping themselves as their production run of the GS was a tad on the excessive side......

I suppose it depends on the total price paid to decide if you did indeed get these items for "free" or were they just hidden in the price ?

i ordered mine last week and paid retail as per websites and the dealer included a nav v plus top box

They have them advertised as free of charge and they were not added on to the discounted price that i paid for the bike, so i would class that as being free, and the fact that they are listed on my invoice as F.O.C.
