Am about to change my tyres on my Adventure, and am struggling to get stock of Tourances anywhere at the moment. The excellent chap at Universal Tyres has Michelin Anakees in stock, but am a little unsure about them. Should I be? Anyone with any experience of both please leave a reply. Cheers guys.

Richie, I do a lot of commuting miles and always found the Tourance to be good, and wares out slowly - just the sqauring off that makes them eventually unridable. How do you find the wear of the Anakees? I have done an extensive search through the website and, of course, everyone has a tale to tell!!! My Adv has only ever had Tourances, so quite keen to get some decent feedback before I take the plunge!!

I get 4.5k out of a rear on a 12GS......lots of traffic light GP however whilst commuting:D

I bought my ADV with 3.5K on the clock the Michelins were part worn then @25% I would guess. Have just changed them front and back at 10K. Rear just had visible tread in the centre and th front would have needed doing soon so bit the bullet. Cost £230 for the pair - was that poor, good, or about the norm?

Tourance "H" rated £130..00 a set fitted
and "V" rated £150.00 a set..........Harrys Tyres Belfast.

Appreciate that this is not muchgood to you guys over the water, but those prices seem to be about right throughout dealers in the UK.................

But I stand to be corrected....

Regards
