Inspired by a text from DaveA today about honest people in Britain I thought I'd relay this story to you all...
A few weeks ago I was going climbing at Harrison Rocks straight from work. I took the GS so it was about an hour ride each way. Parked the bike up, met my mate on his 1150GS and we went off climbing for a few hours.
Finished climbing about 21:30, put the biking gear on, got on the bikes and road home. Again another hour maybe less to get home.
So I'm sitting at home feeling all chuffed, nice ride out plus nice climbing and it gets to about 23:00 and I start thinking I should go to bed. So I go to check my phone before I go up, only to notice I can't find my personal phone or my work phone. Checked all the pockets, bike shed etc nothing. I then suddenly have a memory of putting both phones on the fairing of the bike by the tank, going for a p*ss, putting my helmet on and riding off!
So I go on find my iphone app from my ipad and I can see the phone is in the area of Groombridge, excellent it must still be laying in the car park.
So I now drive to Harrison's, get there about half past midnight and look where I parked the bike...Nothing.
Trying not to panic too much I then ring my phone from my daughter's phone and I can hear it ringing straight away, finally trace it to the toilet block where some kind soul has carefully placed both phones one on top of the other near the door.
Such a relief.
Anyway the next day I'm going through my phone, as you do, and I notice there's a photo of someone's cock in my gallery!
Renewed my faith in society, honest with a sense of humour!
