Garmin nuvii 2445 & Garmin basecamp.

Patience is not one of my virtues. I have done a route map to London, with various way points in central London. Sent this to my Garmin, but, when I look at my Garmin, it does not show the whole route, just the various waypoints I have entered.

What am I doing wrong.

I tried to run the Garmin in demo mode for the route, but it does it in real time, how can I speed this up, so that i can see where it is taking me?

While on the subject, how do I remove the internal storage active log?

Just a guess....

When prompted by BaseCamp, did you tick the box that said.... 'send route' or did you just tick 'send waypoints'?

With the answer to that one question, we can maybe move on.


You can't speed up the route simulation on the device.

You can though view it in Google earth on you computer and fair whiz along.

Hmm, just found it!!! I went into Apps, there it is within Trip Planner.
