i just tried to look at the somme way points and it says ... "this file cannot be read because it uses a subsequent file version. This program can read mps as well as gdb files version 2 or below" ... sorry to be a pain but wtf does all that mean

It means you've got an old version of Mapsource.

Check for up-dates as per below......

This thread is AWESOME Thank you so much for this.

A long shot I know, but any chance of campsites in the rest of Europe, namely Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech republic? (Bet you can't tell where I'm going ) Any one of those countries would be supremely helpful. If not no worries, the ones posted are a huge help anyway!

Not completly off topic.....

Is it possible to convert aa route planner routes to Garmin routes? I am very new to mapsource and i am having issues as the start and end postcodes tend to give me "no object found" when I use the find function.

Any tips?

Are you using CN NT? If not, in the UK at least, you'll only reduce the search to an area, not a street as you can with the full postcode.

Yes, I am on V9. As a slight aside, it does not find my sisters postcode in Teddington.

Not really the kind of thing I can dig up. If someone's got a list of address's or a POI file in another format (Tom Tom etc.) then I can convert it
