Evening all, I’m looking at returning to the Canaries late Jan ‘25 and was looking for any other recommendations for bike hire. We’ve previously used Canary Ride.

Morning Wapping, they're still there, offer a great tour service and have well maintained bikes. This year we hired two AT's, an NT1100 and a Ducati Desert X which were all great but i think something slightly smaller capacity / size might suit the roads better. Just seeing what there is,Are they defunct or no good?
I completely agree with you about not needing larger bikes in Gran Canaria. I am now a firm convert to the 'smaller' bike world and am keeping my eye out for V Strom bargains (of which there appears to be many at the moment).Morning Wapping, they're still there, offer a great tour service and have well maintained bikes. Don’t trash it . I’m renting that next FebI am currently out in Gran Canary and have hired a 1300gsa to tour the island on with wifey on the back. Hired bike off Canary Ride, excellent service and had the bike delivered and collected from my hotel. Highly recommend. Agree you do not need a big bike but I personally chose the BMW as it’s similar to mine back at home and know it can handle all road types safely with a pillion.
They’ll give discount too if you’re a repeat visitor. Have you picked dates yet Arsey? I’m likely going Feb again next year.
You'd have to be careful (or carefree) thrashing a 1300 in GC, as you well know Arsey.

Barry,Hi PD, I went for a Ducati Desert Sled as I too have a 13 and fancied something else for a change. I’d have like their MG Stelvio but it was booked at the time.

Found the new 1300 stops well with a handful of front brake leverYou'd have to be careful (or carefree) thrashing a 1300 in GC, as you well know Arsey.
Some corners wouldn't be forgiving to get wrong!
