GSA 2016 Front end road noise

Metzeler Roadtec 01's ordered for front and rear. Current Anakees are looking a little squared and what with a trip to the Black Forest coming up thought i get them changed. I'll be interested to notice if there is a difference in rolling road noise.

Avons sounding more like the tyres I reed
I'm fed up with the noise

I always wear earplugs but as I'm changing tyres soon trying to get a decent compromise between road & dirt. In the past I had some tourance and did like them but lots of guys are singing praises to the Avons Trailriders that if they are ok on dirt track I might give them a try.

They're excellent off road for a dual purpose tyre.More than happy with them after some extreme trails in Romania I didn't really want to tackle on a GS!

Madsplash, I would say provided its not too loose yes, the carcass is much stronger than pr4, so punctures should be less likely, and a smoother grippy ride, i have some tourance [not exp or next]in lc sizes ready for next change, ran them for many years, the trail riders are similar ,

Same noise from my anakkee3's . Just changed to conti trail attack and it's quiet.
Also bear in mind that some helmets with a peak will amplify the noise. I had little noise when wearing an open face but a right din with a tour cross
