As it appears most will have their eyes taken out buying a new GSA soon after launch I doubt many will want to reply to this thread but.......go on then.....what deal have you got???

Are you proud of your hard nosed negotiation skills or was the sway of a new GSA strong enough to make you not give a crap how much it cost?

Once I've test ridden it I will probably be going into battle for a white or maybe green one with premium pack, how I'll laugh as the dealer offers me 20p and a packet of digestives for my 2009 bike !!

I would imagine £15k would seal the deal, for a new one with no p/x .....plus a few shekels for panniers of choice

That's because all those who have paid their deposit are having a lie down. I was in Bahnstormers on Saturday and asked out of idle curriosity how much a full spec GSA would cost with panniers, top box and the quick shifter gizmo....I was told not to expect much change out of £18K....good day!

For one as Fully specced with luggage That's my Ball park figure .If you can afford it and I guess a lot can via PX or PCP Enjoy it !! The Looks have really grown on me and I reckon it will be awesome . Keeping my 13 GSA but looking forward to hearing about the new one . By the way all the 9T's have sold out so far and they are £11600 Naked /Air/oil cooled .Good luck to you all

The usual deal offered on a launch bike, for existing customers that have bought lots of bikes from a particular dealer (:D), is list price on the bike, 10% discount on any accessories, and possibly free luggage, or sat nav. As the luggage for the GSA will be over £1k, I'd imagine that a Nav V chucked in will be about as good as you'll get.:thumb

They'll sell shed loads of GSA's, so don't get your hopes up about getting anything chucked in, as some dealers will do a deal, and some won't have to.:rob

There will be deals to be had if you look around. Just like there was when the WC GS came out. There will be dealers with bikes in stock that received them based on the spurious claim of a deposit taken when it turns out they were ordering bikes using their own staff members names/addresses etc

Then there will be dealers with bikes in stock who have been let down by customers who had placed deposits but then changed their minds. I could have bought a TE with £1k off RRP from a dealer who had such a bike in stock that they had registered on the new owners private plate before he changed his mind. So it would have been a 2nd owner ZERO mileage bike :blagblah

Then there will be the dealers who took deposits and use the resulting stock deliveries to satisfy subsequent walk-in buyers while the early deposit placers wait the longest as they will be catered for when there is free stock.

As far as I am aware a 1200 ADV in TE spec is 15300 on the road, ok that's without luggage but where did the other 3k go?

Hi

Park Lane gave me exact figures for the cost of the (non) essentials.

Aluminium Panniers 794.40
Aluminium Topcase 355.20
BMW Navigator 5 610.00
Tinted Deflectors 70.60
Tinted Screen 188.60
Top Box Mount 108.30

On top of 14,695 for the bike.
So the full price for GSA TE is about £17500.

When I contacted Bahnstormer they told me the prices hadn't been released yet.

.........or for £12,600 plus £800 for side cases you get what should be a very good bike without all the tat ;)

BMW may want you to buy "fully loaded bikes" but that does not mean that you have to :augie
