Cant seem to find this information anywhere. Where is the fuse and or relay for the hazzard lights, and yes I have the ignition turned on.

Just looking at page8-39 in my Haynes manual.Doesn't show a fuse for the indicators, but the turn signal relay is the big one in the fusebox.
Do your indicators work normally for left/right turns?.

Hazzard lights

Is it an American model? Specially for the Dukes?
To my knowledge no bike sold in Europe has ever had Hazzard lights, but
maybe it is a hangover from the tv series.

Hazzard

Yep, dont worry I didn't miss the irony, my hair is very short. Still looking for an answer. I have two R1150GS's and both have Hazzard switches. One works one does not. Why not?

Swap the indicator switch unit between bikes. They are electronic switches in there, not relays. Then its down to poking about in the handlebar switch and wiring.

Sounds like a hazzardous occupation to me.

I did not want to start a new topic on this issue but here it goes.

About 2 weeks ago, one of my fog lamps stoped working. I wanted to test and see if it was the bulb burnt or something in the harness.

So what I did was to try to put the fog wires to the front signal bulb. That and then I tryed to put the wires from the fog to the relay and signal bulb.

I konw, stupid thing I did. Anyway, I have managed to burn my signaling relay and I had a 3k km's trip in 2 days from then.

I took off the relay, opened it and then saw that one transistor was burnt. There are 2 of these on the PCB. The L/H side flashing worked OK, the R/H one did not. So I assumed that there was the fault.

I googled the datasheet for the transistor and bought all 6 of them available at the parts store.

It requiered some fiddling while soldering but in the end, it all went just fine...

So my point here is that these relays are pretty reliable unless the intervention of the rider :D And it can be repaired.
