HELP

Anyone in Plymouth – I am considering buying a 650 Dakar in Plymouth and normally I would travel and pick-up no problem - I live in the Newcastle area. However, I have a back injury at the moment and I cannot travel – Sod’s law as I’ve waited a while for the right bike. I can get the bike delivered for £125, but although described as immaculate and corrosion free, I’m a bit nervous of buying without seeing.

So……here goes…….something I have done before for a fellow tosser who couldn’t travel. “For a donation to fund/charity/person of their choice” is anyone willing to have a quick glance at it. All I would be interested in is it as described “immaculate and corrosion free”.

I wouldn’t expect any mechanical opinions as it has only covered 4700 miles, but it would be nice if it started and sounded OK.

If there is a spare Samaritan give me a call on 07903853277.

Thanks,
Bill

Just my 2p worth Bill but if Ocean have described the bike as 'immaculate and corrosion free' that would be good enough for me. They are a pretty proffesional outfit.

Devon,

I agree, and even if it was from a fellow tosser I would just buy, but its an add in the bike trader. Seems honest enough, but 4200 a lot to part with when the seller might not be steetwise and might not know faults themselves.

Thanks

Bill
