Hi, any hints for a 06 Gsa that will happily turn over but won't spark or inject fuel (new battery and fpc fitted)? All help appreciated!

tip over solenoid valve maybe , shuts the fuel to the pump/ injectors possibly, can you hear the pump running when you turn the ignition on ?

Hello
When did the bike last run ok ?.....Did you fit the new battery and fuel pump controller because it wouldn't start or is it not firing up since you fitted them?

Rode it a couple of weeks back on a short trip to France it struggled to fire in Portsmouth but eventually went. Refused to fire up in France. RAC couldn't fix it by the time I had to return and repatriated it (a story in itself). I replaced the fpc and battery to exclude those possibilities

OP. Anything to feed back to us yet? Were/are any of the responses you got useful? Is it running? :nenau

Have you tested the fuel injector spray by removing injector into a jamjar and using a GS911 to test each in turn ?

Proven a spark by earthing a plug and cranking ??

Never seen a tip over solenoid valve on a GS, mine will run quite happily whilst laying on its side, its what the killswitch was made for.

All, many thanks for comments, hints and assistance. A new crank sensor was the answer and I'm getting it back from NOG tomorrow.:beerjug::thumby:
