I am about to install a Starcom kit that will be connected to an Ipod, mobile phone and GPS enabled PDA. The Starcom is going under the seat (1150 GSA) and the gadgets will either sit in, or on top of, a tank bag.
Read the Starcom installation manual and all seems fine but
....is it possible to provide and set up a power supply to charge the gadgets, and how would this be done ?
....where is the most suitable point for providing power to the Starcom unit ?
....as there will be two or three leads going from the Starcom unit to the gadgets in the tank bag, is there any recognised method for protecting / securing the ends of these when the tank bag and gadgets are not being used ?
