Indeed.....no denying that at all......it COULD be that our beloved OP was unconsciouisly enjoying the new power and lease of life breathed into his remapped bike that he increased the consumption by using all of the power a lot more of the time than usual......I wasn't going to suggest that to him as it is subjective and probably contentious.
My reason for raising the 'objection' was only based on fairness......I'd nearly always prefer to speak to the person who potentially caused a problem before going public with it, so they had the chance to resolve any issues![]()
Beloved...ah shocks thanks Bill, i am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and from all of my many posts on here i dont get involved in silly nonsense so if some think ive done things wrong thats fine, its all good with me.
In my other Hilltop post i was full of praise for Geoff and how he fitted me in on short notice and just thought i would update peeps as i know lots of people are spending lots of money getting their bikes remapped and just thought i would update, i did try to call geoff a couple of times today but to no avail.
I fully intended to again post how things went afterwards in fairness to all concerned and will do.
The route i took to the Ardennes i have done maybe 100 times ( not all on this bike ) and rode actually slower than normal as i had another guy with me who doesnt know the roads as i do, now i would expect a slight drop in fuel after the remap but 10mpg is a bit more than expected, even so the surging thats remained and that is a big disappointed.
footy is just about to start
